Plot-bunny

Not sure how we wanna do this, so I'm jut posting up my plotbunny here.
There's this eccentric artist woman (because I know how to write those), she keeps to herself for the most part, and while a lot of people know who she is and like her, she doesn't have a lot of close friends.
Then there's this ghost. He's been dead for a couple decades. He died when his lover left him for another man, not of a broken heart, but because when he went to try to win her back, the creep she left him for was drunk and angry and stabbed him to death. girlfriend freaked out and ran away. He's been stuck in limbo ever since and has slowly lost his humanity.
He meets her when she goes to a funeral. Not sure who's. Maybe someone who died similarly that she was close to.
And they 'meet'.
Ghost boy falls in love with living girl, and begins to 'court' her, by way of hauntings and possessions and bizarre dreams.
Not sure how its gonna end. I want it to be a kind of disturbingly sweet while being mysteriously scary at the same time.

I can totally dig this. I read a story sort of like this once - it was called The Haunting of Jessica Raven, and it was awesome. Only the guy wasn't a ghost - he was some weird astral projection of a guy from the past, and when she finally met the actual one...it sorta broke my heart, for a teen read. I think you could totally win with this one.
