So I have some tentative character sketches, at any rate.
Main plot: tangled romance between Bob Summers (drummer in a rock band with his twin brother and another pair of twins - kudos to Ericka's encouragement on the twin front) who suffers from leukemia and is on the road all the time and Carolyn Pierce, a second-year law student. There will be distance and angst. Meet cute: in the law school basement during a tornado.
Subplot: Carolyn's roommate, Jewel Hennessy (a counselor for troubled teens and craft mistress/pagan priestess extraordinaire) is in love with the man affectionately know as FT, which is short for Father Thomas (the law school priest who was a prodigy surgeon who lost a hand in a horrific kidnapping incident and thereafter signed himself up for Seminary). The running gag is that Jewel plans on relieving FT of his virginity in the back seat of her Volkswagen. I'm open for models of the VW - I'll even take a Bug.
I've done preliminary research on Bob's leukemia and will have the science in order soon.
What say you, comrades-in-arms?

Plot-bunny
Not sure how we wanna do this, so I'm jut posting up my plotbunny here.
There's this eccentric artist woman (because I know how to write those), she keeps to herself for the most part, and while a lot of people know who she is and like her, she doesn't have a lot of close friends.
Then there's this ghost. He's been dead for a couple decades. He died when his lover left him for another man, not of a broken heart, but because when he went to try to win her back, the creep she left him for was drunk and angry and stabbed him to death. girlfriend freaked out and ran away. He's been stuck in limbo ever since and has slowly lost his humanity.
He meets her when she goes to a funeral. Not sure who's. Maybe someone who died similarly that she was close to.
And they 'meet'.
Ghost boy falls in love with living girl, and begins to 'court' her, by way of hauntings and possessions and bizarre dreams.
Not sure how its gonna end. I want it to be a kind of disturbingly sweet while being mysteriously scary at the same time.
